M-FOUR: IMPROVING THE LIVES OF RESIDENTS ACROSS SCOTLAND

M-Four is a forward thinking consultancy business, focused on driving tangible social and environmental change. Through close collaboration with the Scottish Government, local authorities, and housing providers, M-Four has helped improve renewable energy efficiency and reduce the cost of living for over 15,000 properties in Scotland through the area based funding scheme.

GRANT FUNDING TO REDUCE THE COST OF LIVING WITH ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND RENEWABLE ENERGY

Working closely with North Ayrshire Council, M-Four are committed to reduce the cost of living and instances of fuel poverty across North Ayrshire and support wider Scottish targets to reduce carbon emissions in the domestic sector, driving Scotland toward Net Zero. ONS data for Scotland released last year estimate that 35% of Scottish people are living in fuel poverty. In extreme fuel poverty, 24%, figures that can be greatly reduced through funding necessary energy efficiency and renewable energy property upgrades.

This grant funding scheme had been put in place by North Ayrshire Council in line with their priorities of achieving a “sustainable environment” and “homes that meet our residents needs”. This scheme offers financial support for energy efficiency upgrades in your property – reducing energy usage and costs and instances of fuel poverty in North Ayrshire.

THE FUNDING PROCESS

To take advantage of this scheme, please contact Community Development Scotland, who will be able to provide additional information regarding the scheme, and arrange an appointment with our expert surveyor team.
